Twitter Chat: Making Healthy Eating Doable: Reaching Your Goals

I have not been very active on Twitter in the past, but I hope to change that this year. In the spirit of this new goal, I will be participating in my first Twitter Chat on January 18th and I hope you will join me.

Twitter Chats are live discussions that take place on Twitter, a popular social media platform. Living Beyond Breast Cancer, an amazing organization I have mentioned before on My Cancer Chic, hosts a variety of Twitter Chats throughout the year. Their Twitter Chats bring together experts, advocates and people diagnosed with breast cancer to discuss a variety of medical and quality of life topics.

Participants use a hashtag (#) that connects the conversation for others to follow and reply.

Join me on January 18th for the Twitter Chat: Making Healthy Eating Doable: Reaching Your Goals.

The new year often brings with it new goals for developing and maintaining a healthier lifestyle. Join me on for this Twitter Chat on how to develop healthy eating habits that will really stick.

Eating healthy is important for many reasons, but it’s not always easy to do, especially when you have breast cancer.  I will be one of 5 panelists leading the discussion and we hope you will join us to learn more. The one hour Twitter Chat will begin at 12:00 p.m. (ET) and we will discuss:

  • how a breast cancer diagnosis impacts healthy eating
  • the everyday hurdles to eating well
  • strategies for achieving nutritional goals
  • tips for food prep and eating healthy on a budget
